The UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center is holding an internal competition to select two nominees from the Cancer Center to submit for the Phi Beta Psi Sorority Research Award.
- 1-year awards will be made from $40,000 - $60,000 (indirect costs are not allowed)
- Research applications must be focused on brain, breast, colorectal, endometrial, lung, ovarian, pancreatic or prostate cancer.
- Preference is given to Young Investigators with documented evidence of potential for conducting novel research of either basic or clinical aspects of cancer and caner-related problems.
- Applications from Established Investigators exploring new and innovative areas of cancer research will also be considered.
To participate in the internal competition, all interested parties will need to submit a 1-page proposal and biosketches for the PI and any collaborators to UNMCC-PilotProgram@salud.unm.edu on or before Monday April 16. If selected as the UNMCCC nominees, full applications are due to the Phi Beta Psi Sorority on June 15.
