Please be advised that during the monthly load test this morning (Friday, May 18) of the 1201 Cancer Center’s emergency generator, equipment suffered a failure and is currently out of operation. Power is currently being provided to all circuits via the normal electrical power distribution system, however, if a power failure occurs during this time, “red” outlets, emergency power, and egress lighting will not function. At this time, there is no ETA on restoration of backup service.
All electrical power and generators are functioning normally at the 2325 Cancer Research Facility.
Please contact Cancer Center Plant Operations with any specific questions or concerns.
UPDATE: the generator has been repaired, tested, and returned to service as of 08:00, May 25, 2018
