James LaCour is retiring from UNM after 27 years! Congratulations!
James started at UNM on September 1, 1993 and has spent almost all of his 27 years at the cancer center. He held positions as a security attendant, patient transport aide, security guard, security supervisor, facilities coordinator and general services assistant. He assumed his current role as a patient navigator in July, 2007.
James cares deeply for our patients. He helps them through some of the most difficult times of their lives with warmth, competence, grace, efficiency, and smiles.
Thank you, James, for all you’ve done for our patients and for our cancer center. Best wishes for a happy, long and enjoyable retirement!
Today, Thursday, June 28, 2018, is James’ last full day at the cancer center.
