Change in CRF Access, Effective Sept. 16

By msequeira

To all UNMCCC Faculty and Staff:

All access to the Cancer Research Facility (CRF) will require a badge starting September 16, 2019.

Until now, the CRF building has remained unlocked from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. For safety reasons, UNMCCC Senior Leadership has approved the change to badge-only building access. This means that the front door to CRF will require a badge to enter 24 hours a day 7 days a week. No other changes to badge readers will occur at this time. The only door that will be affected is the front glass door to the CRF building.

Starting 9/16/19, anyone wishing to enter the building from Camino de Salud will require a badge with appropriate access or will need to be escorted by someone who has badge access.

If you are planning to hold a meeting at the CRF, please make arrangements for your meeting members to access the building. You or a team member may need to meet people at the front door and should escort them out once your meeting has ended.

Please see me if you have any concerns about your current access to the CRF and the form needed to ensure appropriate access.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Sabrina Samudio-Ruiz, PhD
