Recipients are selected on merit of excellence and talent in the areas of research, education/prevention, patient care, or administration/finance. Nominate an employee by September 16 at noon!

A New Tool in the Ransomware Fight: Splunk

The UH Network and IT Security teams have rolled out "Splunk," an alerting tool that has been assisting in identifying and notifying IT staff of Ransomware attacks. Splunk gathers information from a large number of sources, then sends alerts that the respective security teams act on. Splunk is just one layer of our efforts to identify and stop-contain Ransomware.
